Fifty Road is a picturesque cycling climb up the Niagara Escarpment in Hamilton, Ontario and home to our 2026 New Hope Everesting Cycling Fest.

For the past 6 years we have used the picturesque Fifty Road for our climb. This route up the Niagara Escarpment offers 92m of elevation gain each lap with a 9.3% grade.
We take the road over for the entire event to keep your ride safe.
The road is closed to all non-local traffic for the duration of the event allowing for safer riding conditions and the freedom to use the whole lane up and down.
