New Hope’s Everesting Cycling Fest is an official Global Everesting Event.
For anyone looking to make their ride part of the official Everesting Hall of Fame database, you can submit your ride to forever be included in the history of Everesting rides. This only applies to teams doing Everesting meters.
And you get to do that while raising money for a great cause!

How Team Climbing Works
-
Sign Up & Fundraise
The first step is easy. Register your team and then spread the word. Each team rider is asked to raise $250 to participate in the day’s events. We will provide you with fundraising tips.
-
Climb. Descend. Repeat.
Based on your team’s elevation target, ride your bikes up and down the Fifty Rd climb together until all of you have decided you are done. Combine your elevation gains at the end for your total.
-
Count Your Climbs
This is the math part and you get to decide how you do it. You can count your climbs in your head, keep a talley, or let a bike computer tell you how many meters you’ve climbed.
Here are some epic mountains and popular cycling climbs to motivate you.
Only a handful of people actually set their sites on Everest. That’s the give or take part. We’ll provide some different targets but you decide what your goal is and then try your best to get there.
