This is the largest Official one-day Everest Cycling event in Canada.
Money raised through the Everesting Cycling Fest goes towards New Hope Community Bikes’ programs, which aim to provide equitable access to cycling resources. These programs help more people access bikes and experience the mental and physical benefits they provide.
Supporting this event is an opportunity to empower others through cycling while giving yourself a unique challenge. We think you’re up for it! All you have to do is sign up, fundraise, and set your own goal.
Ride your bike uphill For a Good Cause
Only a handful of people actually set their sites on Everest. That’s the give or take part. We’ll provide some different targets but you decide what your goal is, fundraise as much as you can, and then try your best to reach your climbing goals with the help of everyone cheering you on.
Help us meet our fundraising target of $30,000 for 2025
Last year we raised just over our target of $25,000 so for this year we are aiming higher. Sign up to ride and raise a minimum of $250 to help us get here. Through New Hope Community Bikes, we’ve been able to use these funds to support all of the cycling programs that give back to the community. As a charity, we appreciate all of your help.
Join a Group Ride Without the climbing
If hill repeats are not your thing, we have group rides and other events for you. You can still come out and ride your bike to support a good cause by selecting from a few different group rides including a 30k or 120k ride.
Spend the day riding your bike with other cyclists all in support of a good cause.

For the past 6 years we have used the picturesque Fifty Road for our climb. This route up the Niagara Escarpment offers 100m of elevation gain each lap. The road is closed to all non-local traffic for the duration of the event allowing for safer riding conditions and the freedom to use the whole lane up and down.
